Honestly I was a bit hesitant on working with redfin initially because there haven't been great reviews overall. I looked through many profile/reviews and found Nathan. When we were looking at houses it was hard for us to get questions answered for additional information on the house that we are considering. I later found that everything is segregation of duties.. Nathan picks up on the process once we are serious with bidding, it is still muddled on who answers questions prior to bidding. Nathan does answer them from time to time but his attention towards us was only 101% after placing an offer. Nathan is a GEM, he has his own real estate properties that he manage so he is very knowledgeable with marketing and tactics. He does not pressure us to make stupid bidding just to win, he is realistic with telling us what the house is really worth. I was actually surprised with this because most relator would probably do this or remain bias so they can move on to the next client, but I would never recommend these type of relators if I sense this. He encourage us to have a few other inspector outside of the routine ones which we are really grateful for. He pays attention to all the emails and read through inspection reports, also understands the fixes that needs to be done and who we should be talking to for them to be resolved. He also knows which of the fixes are more material to be taken care of. He came prepared making sure all the agreed fixes with the seller were done on final walkthrough. During showing we have always booked Tom Boysen, he is amazing. Adrienne Sassaman is great with ideas on fixing and quality of the house as well. Nathan does have full of recommendation but he gives no pressure on whether we whether he go with who he recommended. Ryan Pierce from Rocket is very professional and respectful, Joe McQuillen is fast but use marketing tactics which we did not sign up with him.
